Invariance of curl

Equations are omitted for technical reasons - download the original pdf

It can be proven that the magnitude and direction of curl v do not depend on the particular choice of Cartesian coordinates. This is to be expected. Since curl v describes a physical property of a field, its value should not depend on the choice of coordinate system. The proof depends on concepts not currently introduced at this level.
